POTATO CURRY


INGREDIENTS
Potatoes - 3
Onions - 2 ( sliced )
Tomatoes - 2 ( sliced )
Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 2 Tsps
Fennel Powder - 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 / 2 Tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1 Tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 3 Tbsps

TO GRIND
INGREDIENTS
Coconut - 1 / 2 cup ( grated )
Cumin - 1 Tsp
Green chilli - 1 ( choped )

TO TEMPER
INGREDIENTS
Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp
Curry Leaves - 2 Sprigs
Dry Red Chillies - 2


METHOD
1. Peel the skin and cube potatoes.
2. Pressure cook the potatoes till soft.
3. Grind grataed coconut with green chilli
    and cumin to a smooth paste.
4. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds curry
    leaves dry red chillies
5. Add the onion and saute till it is golden.
6. Add the ginger and garlic paste and stir till raw
   smell is no more.
7. Add the tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft .
8. Add the ground coconut paste and saute for 5
    minutes.
9. Add the spice powders salt and saute for 3 minutes.
10. Add enough water and let it boil for 5 - 7 minutes.
11. Add the cooked potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
